EU Articulation Scheme

The EU Articulation Scheme provides EU students with the opportunity to spend one academic year studying for a bachelors degree at the University of Abertay Dundee (UAD) in Scotland, UK.

The scheme is open to EU citizens who are studying at an Erasmus approved university in another member state and who have successfully completed at least two years of degree study at their home university.

Depending on their previous studies, EU students can choose to join either the third year (Semester 5 and 6) or the fourth year (Semester 7 and 8) of one of the undergraduate degree programmes shown below. In the nearest future the Scheme is going to be extended to the second year (see website for further information).

Using the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), the credits awarded by their home university will be recognised so that, when they complete the year successfully at UAD, they will be awarded 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits as well as a Bachelors Degree from the UAD. In this way EU students can gain a 'double degree' by graduating with both an excellent degree from the University of Abertay Dundee and a degree from their 'home' university.
